Clear Skies + Hot Desert Air

7 Mar

One of my favorite things about traveling for work is seeing cities in a way I would never otherwise see them. I try to choose a hotel within a couple miles of my classes so that I can walk and take in the city – block by block. I am amazed at how I can walk down one side of the street in the morning and the other in the evening and find little treasures I couldn’t possibly have noticed from the other side.

The weather was in the 80s today and I think/hope I got a bit of a tan walking around on my lunch. The clear sky, bright colored cactus, and dry air were a welcomed change.

I just love that purple cactus and these painted tiles, so many treasures to find.
