Well here we are over Missouri or something like that, and I am really wishing for some ruby slippers to click to get me to Venice already. I have always had really bad motion sickness and today is no different. It only took about 20 minutes into the completely full flight for me to grab the ole’ “motion sickness” baggie and lose my ridiculously expensive airport Starbucks breakfast. The poor lady sitting next to me has been such a good sport.
Even the thought of 2 more flights after this one are making me nauseous.
Thank goodness for my super stylish motion sickness armbands {although not really sure if they are working}, the amazing stewardess who is keeping my cup full of ice chips, ginger ale, and the old school Amy Grant album on my borrowed iPad!
Oh and lucky me, the seatbelt sign just came back on and we have hit more turbulence. Super. I’ll just keep telling myself it will be over…soon-ish.
Oh and yes, we miss Teddy already. I mean come on, how could you not?

Oh you poor thing! As soon as I saw the title of the blog pop up in my inbox I knew what you were about to say! I get the same way on planes, although don’t actually “get sick” but the feeling of knowing you are stuck there for a while makes it worse when you are in that condition. Hope you are feeling better soon and I will say a prayer for a smooth and quick flight!
Oh, no! I hope your super cool bracelets help, and that you can sleep through the rest of your loooong trip to paradise! You have lots of wonderful days to look forward to, hang in there! And, Teddy says he misses you so much … and he wants you to know he is being super good so you’ll come back and get him!!!
